| Personal Bio | I was born and raised in Kiambu, I then migrated to London, UK in 1976. I settled in South London, before moving to North London (Finchley/Southgate) in 1980. I was in a business partnered with my two brothers since coming to the UK. I became an Oshwal member in 1980, and soon after joined North Area committee. I have been a part of many different types of portfolios including fund raising, membership, culture and heritage. I have been in the North Area committee on and off for the last 18 years and have also volunteered in OAUK for over 30 years. My whole family have been active members of Oshwal for many years. I am also a proud Dada/Nana to my 4 grandchildren, whom I adore very much. I enjoy playing badminton on a regular basis, gardening, swimming, playing Bhukar/Chokri and going for long walks in the morning. |
