It is with deep regret that we announce the peaceful passing away of
Mr Velji Ladha Devraj Shah (Sumaria) of
Gaam: Arablus
On Saturday 2nd January 2021 at home in
London UK.
Our Bapuji will be truly missed.
His strength, courage and unconditional love is an inspiration to us all.
His independence & knowledge made our Bapuji a wonderful unique Soul.
He was the Son of Late Ladha Devraj Sumaria and Late Valiben Ladha Sumaria
He was the Son-in-Law of Late Kachra Hemraj Dodhia & Late Jethiben Kachra Dodhia.
He was the Loving Husband of Radiatben Velji Sumaria.
He was the Father and Father-in-law of
Sudhir & Ila,
Dipti & Dipak,
Tilesh & Falguni,
Mala.
He was the Dada of Neal, Rhea, Milly, Ayushi & Ronik.
He was the Brother/Brother-in-law of
Late Somchand Ladha & Late Kasturben Somchand Sumaria (Arablus) – India
Late Rupaben Mokar Popat Haria (Sagpar) – London UK
Late Kasturben Premji Hansraj Gudka (Padana) – Mumbai India
Late Ratanben Ratilal Nathalal Malde (Vasai) – Mumbai India
Leelavantiben Punja Hansraj Gudka (Padana) – Mumbai India
He was the Brother-in-Law of
Late Hirji Kachara Dodhia (Navagaam) – Mumbai India
Late Jayantilal Kachara Dodhia (Navagaam) – Mumbai India
Late Jayaben Hansraj Haria (Padana) – Mumbai India
Leelavantiben Motichand Nagaria (Mungani) – Varud India
Bapuji dearly loved all his nieces and nephews & members of his extended families.
Bapuji was born in Arablus, India and at a very young age he migrated to Nairobi, Kenya for several years before he migrated back to Mumbai, India and for the past 40 years he lived a blissful life with his wife between India and London, UK.
His legacy, always loved, never forgotten, forever missed.
May His Soul Rest in Eternal Bliss
Due to the current Covid -19 pandemic, there will not be a public held Sadadi and the funeral service will be restricted to close family.
