It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that we announce the passing away of Ramila Manekchand Shah of Thornton Heath, Surrey during the morning of Monday 1st February 2021.
Ramilaben was born in Jam-Salaya, India and lived in Nairobi, Kenya before settling in Thornton Heath, United Kingdom.
Daughter of Late Makanji Vershi Gudhka and Late Gangaben Makanji Gudhka.
Daughter in Law of Late Bharmal Jetha and Late Viraben Bharmal Gosrani of Rasangpar India.
Beloved Wife of Late Manekchand Bharmal (Nathoo) Shah.
Loving Mother of Shirish, Rashmita, Jayesh, Vijay and Pankaj.
Mother-in-Law of Manju, Jayshree, Ushma and Brita.
Grandmother of Reena, Heenal, Jigna, Larissa, Vaishali, Chirag, Shivani, Jaini and Vilas.
Grandmother-in-Law of Similan Anandajeyarajah.
Sister (Sister-in-Law) of Late Jayaben (Late Lalji Devraj) and Radiatben (Khimji Rayshi).
Sister-in-Law of Late Savitaben (Late Fulchand Narshi), Amratben (Late Meghji Versi), Late Zaverchand Bharmal (Maniben), Late Somchand Bharmal (Savitaben), Late Paniben (Late Somchand Devji), Kasturben (Late Fulchand Ranmal), Late Velji Bharmal (Kanchanben) and Shantaben (Late Makanji Virpar).
Our beautiful Ba was a humble, strong, independent and cheerful person. She was incredibly caring and always welcoming to all. Ba had a jest for life and enjoyed the simple pleasures; family, friends, good food, reading, holidays and her regular TV shows. She gave us so much joy and will forever be in our hearts.
