It is with immense sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Ba, Pushpaben.

Whilst we remember our Bapuji as the 13th anniversary of his passing approaches (29th September 2008), we find ourselves having to say goodbye to our Ba.
Born in Aarikhana, India she was one of 6 siblings. Ba married Bapuji in 1951 in Nairobi. They then settled in Mombasa where they bore 4 boys. The family came to the UK in the early 70s. They started out in Hounslow, before moving to Burnt Oak in 1981 and have been here ever since. She was a character well-known and loved in the local shops and markets…going to different fruit and veg stalls to ensure she got the best value for money on the family food shop. As time went on, she played an active part in helping to raise her 7 grandchildren and also lucky to enjoy playing with her 3 great grandchildren.
By all measures she had a long and fulfilling life only for it to sadly come to a sudden end. She was struggling and taken to hospital on Thursday 23rd September and passed away 2 days later on Saturday at 2pm. We are thankful that she didn’t have to suffer for a long time and hope her soul has now found Bapuji and gained eternal peace.
