It is with great sadness and a heavy heart; we announce the sad demise of Jayaben Kanji Punja on 7th December 2022

She was a devoted wife to late Kanji Punja Shah (Thika, Arikhana)

She was beloved daughter of Lalji Punja & Gangaben Lalji (Lakhabawar)

She was mother and mother-in-law to Madula, Late Hasmukh & Chandrika, Jyotsna & late Ashwin, Mahendra & Kailash, Vasanti & Navin, Bharti & Praful, Kaushika & Jayendra (Jayu)

She was grandmother and grandmother-in-law to Parin & Grishma, Late Anish, Pulvi & Amit Popat, Pulkit & Nira, Rupin & Seema, Prina & Ellesh Maisuria, Rajvi & Mayur Lakhani, Madhvi & Nisheet, Amit & Lorena, Aarti & Pratik Ondhia, Shamir, Dhiren & Nina, Miten, Meera, Nishil & Kajal

She was great grandmother to  Nikita, Niam, Ishaan, Aavi, Rian, Rohin, Iyla, Veer, Remi, Anaya, Avaani, Rishi, Kaiya, Aariya, Mahi, Niya, Ishani, Raayan & Devina,  Lily, Nala & Biondo

She was a sister, sister-in-law to Veluben Premchand & Premchand Bhoja, Mepa Punja & Paniben, Padmaben Virpar & Virpar Punja, HemrajPunja & Lilaben, Raniben Samat & Samat Hadha, Hargan Punja & Amratben

Jayaben was very popular in Thika and was known as Kaki to the town folks, she brought the same popularity to London, she was very kind generous and compassionate and lived with grace and humility, and guests would come from far and wide across the world to come and see her and she would always remember their names and where they lived. She will be dearly missed.
