It is with great regret that we announce the death of Late Vanita Chandrakant Shah. Born in Nakuru, Kenya, then Mombasa, Kenya and now of Thornton Heath, South London.
Daughter of Late Narshi Devji Sethia and Late Ratnaben Narshi Devji
Daughter-in-Law of Late Virchand Virpal Sumaria and Late Paniben Virchand Virpal
Loving wife of Chandrakant Virchand Shah
Beautiful mother of Ameet Chandrakant Shah and Sawan Chandrakant Shah
Beloved grandmother of Ishaani Sawan Shah
Vanitaben was from a large close-knit extended family: immediate and marital. A caring, nurturing, loving soul who valued simple humanity, family and helping others. Loved and valued by her siblings as a major key source of inspiration. Her creativity showed in her interest in cooking for all, gardening, floristry, cake making, sewing, hairdressing and teaching life skills to both young and old.
She was a patient soul who was softly spoken, gentle, humble and was a role model for many, a pillar of courage, strength and hope. Vanitaben doted on her one and only grandchild who gave her so much happiness, joy and solace. All of us will miss her immensely and will cherish the everlasting memories that she brought to us.
Vanitaben will be missed dearly, but shall forever be in our hearts and minds in the most beautiful way where she’ll live on as the angel that she was.
Prarthna Sabha (saddadi) will be held on 25th August 2023 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at:
