Oshwal Walk on Sunday 28 July: Thames Path Chelsea to Richmond
Route Difficulty & Description:
The Thames Path is a well marked hiking trial (300 km) from the origins of the River Thames near Oxford to the Thames Barrier. We bring you a short path of this – a 13 mile (21km) walk from Sloane Square to Richmond along the River Thames. We will pass many famous sites and see some river activity. We will meet at Sloane Square, cross the Chelsea Bridge and pick up the Thames Path from Battersea Park. We will then follow the river through the curves in West London up to Kew Bridge and then turn inwards towards Richmond. In Richmond there are plenty of picturesque picnic spots or places to eat.
Although flat and on mostly marked paths, due to distance and duration, recommended for seasoned walkers. Not suitable for complete beginners.
