Late Kiran Hirji Maya Shah

(02.01.1933 – 01.02.2024)

 

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Motabhai, Kiran Hirji Maya Shah of Eadies Ltd in Nairobi.

 

He was born and lived in Nairobi throughout his life and showed great love for the country of his birth.

 

Kiran was the son of Hirji Maya Gudka and Ladhiben of Gagva.

 

He was devoted husband to Pushpa and son-in-law of late Velji Mepa Haria and Dahiben.

 

Kiran was a loving father to Ketan, Aashit, Sejal, Siddharth, and father-in-law to Meenu, Binita and Meehir

 

He was a doting grandfather to Keshni (Anand), Yashil, Ruhee, Anya and Mahi

 

Kiran was an affectionate brother to late Chandramaniben (late Raichand Mepa), late Kanchanben (late Gulabchand Raichand), late Sobhag (Ranjoo), Natu (Meena) and Rajni (Anju).

 

He was a brother-in-law to Niru (late Jayantilal), Shantu (Popat), Rajni (Jyoti), Renuka (late Praful) and late Mukesh (Priti).

 

Kiran was a much loved uncle and friend to many. As a family man, community activist, Theosophist, philanthropist, confidant, businessman and inspirer his legacy will benefit generations to come.

 

Prathna Sabha (Saddri) will be held on Friday 8th March 2024  between 7.30pm and 9.00pm
