Notice of Special General Meeting
The members of OSHWAL ASSOCIATION OF UK are hereby given NOTICE in accordance with Clause 19.2 of the Constitution for a Special General Meeting to be held on Sunday 17th May 2026 at 11.00 AM (Doors will open at 10.30am) at Oshwal Centre, L.V. Hall, Coopers Lane Road, Northaw, Hertfordshire EN6 4DG, for the following purposes:
1: To approve the purchase of Land situated behind Oshwal Ekta Centre, 366A Stag Lane, London NW9 9AA subject to planning permission.
Details of the foregoing transaction are contained in the accompanying letter from our Honorary President, Mr Rumit D Shah. The letter is deemed to form part of this notice.

Letter from the Hon. President

Dear Members,
Jai Jinendra & Pranam
As you are aware that the main problem we face at Oshwal Ekta Centre (“Ekta”) is the lack of parking on site. To alleviate this issue, we have been in discussions with Kingsbury High School regarding the purchase of a strip of land behind Ekta which can provide for some 90 parking spaces. Not only will this assist greatly with the safety and convenience for our members but it will make Ekta more attractive as a venue for hire. Additionally, it will also reduce the traffic issues outside our centre.
Obviously, there is a cost of purchase and then creating the parking spaces. However, we believe that this is a good investment for OAUK.
We look forward to seeing you at the SGM and rely upon you to endorse the resolution.
