Notice is hereby given that the 52nd Annual General Meeting of the Oshwal Association of the U.K., Luton Area will be held on Sunday 7th June, 2026 commencing at 2pm. prompt at Warden Hill Community Centre, Wycombe Way, Luton LU3 2BL. Please bring your OAUK membership card with you for identification.
AGENDA:
1. Prayers.
2. Apologies.
3. Election of Returning officers.
4. Approval of the Minutes of the 51st Annual General Meeting held on 8th June, 2025.
5. Matters arising from the minutes of the 51st AGM.
6. Treasurer’s Report for the year ending 31st December, 2025.
7. Address & Report by the Chairperson of the OAUK – Luton Area.
8. Address by the President or an Executive Committee Member of the Oshwal Association of the U.K.
9. Any Other Business
10. Election of a committee for the term 2026 to 2028.
11. Followed by refreshments.
In accordance with the revised regulations we would like to request any member interested in putting themselves forward for the role of Returning Officer (RO) to conduct the election to send in your details including your full name and Oshwal membership number by email to irene.m.shah@oshwal.org by close of business on 31st May, 2026.
Two RO ‘s will be required at the election and where a greater number of interested members names are received, the committee will run a ballot to pick a selection. Please note that anyone putting themselves forward for the role of RO will not be eligible to vote in the election or be able to stand for any positions on the committee.
