IDPD is observed on 3rd Dec annually and was created by the United nations with an aim to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilise support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.
This year’s theme is ‘the future is accessible ‘ which means that we must all, together, look towards a future where the barriers which stand in people’s way no longer exist.
Enabling Network (EN) is a group in OAUK helping to do just that.
