People are invited to make paintings of the Derasar. These can be in any medium they wish, water colour, oils, charcoal, etc.
The paintings are for charity to raise funds for the OAUK to create and build a permanent showcase /history of our heritage. Ideally a museum at OC in the long run.
Charge per entry £20 per person. For that they will have use of an easel, board, water colour paints and brushes.
If entrants wish to paint the derasar in other forms then they much provide materials like the paints, charcoal, boards, etc. themselves.
Lunch and teas/coffee will also be provided on the day.
Entry is open to all aged 10 years and above and on the day there will be a couple of professional artist there for guidance to help the ‘amateur’ artists.
The end product of the painting will then belong to OAUK which we will auctioned to the highest bidder.
The painting will be exhibited at major events like Ambil and Diwali and then auctioned ONLINE at a later date.
