A Dal Roti Programme was organised on Saturday 28 April 2018 at St John’s Church Hall, Ilford Essex. We had a good number of area members who attended with a menu of Dal Roti and salad., followed by tea and biscuits.
A very tasty Mixed Dal was prepared by Lataben.
Ashwinbhai had arranged to project a Gujarati Play – Adhikari. This was a Comedy with some sad episodes. Adhikari was a retired judge of strong character and principles who had a very profound impact on the community but especially on his own family. This play illustrates people’s’ perception of and responses to various behaviors and principles that impact the retired judge’s immediate family as well as wider society.
