MAHAVIR JANMA KALYANAK

On 29th April 2017, EAST AREA celebrated the Mahavir Janma Kalyanak at St. Albans Church
Hall in Ilford in presence of Jayeshbhai, Varshaben and over 90 east area members. The event commenced with Navkar Mantra recited by a very young girl ‘Ayushi’ followed by a minute silence for the departed souls. The complete ceremony was conducted by Jayeshbhai who enlightened the congregation with a lecture on the life of Mahavir Swami followed by Ayushi singing 24 Tirthankar stavan with the crowd joining in. Then after 14 sapnas were prayed. The evening ended with Aarti and Mangal divo. This followed with prabhavna for all. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event and went home feeling happy and smiling.
