Engagement – Ashish & Bhavni

Ashish Jayantilal Patani and Bhavni Amritlal Shah

We are pleased to announce that in March 2018, Ashish Jayantilal Patani, our immediate past Hon. Treasurer, and Bhavni Amritlal Shah, our immediate past Trustee for Youth Culture, announced their engagement.

Speaking after their engagement, Ashish and Bhavni said that “One of the great aspects of being involved in the committee together, has been able to work together on many different types of events and initiatives where we shared our common interest for sewa work. This in turn helped us to become much closer where one thing lead to another and we fell in love and are so happy in celebrating our engagement!”

Bhavni added, “One highlight for me was taking part in the Oshwal Medical Camp in India with Ashish, and really appreciating the great impact Oshwal is having on the lives of the less fortunate in Jamnagar, one of our ancestral villages.”

In addition, Ashish said, “I can’t deny Oshwal has it’s up and downs and frankly I was hesitant to get involved in the committee at first, but I am glad I did. I would encourage anyone to get involved and come into Oshwal with an open mind and an open heart. It is a great place to meet new people and provides a solid platform to do sewa work with the help and support of people from our community, and certainly in the case of Bhavni & I, together we can achieve anything.”

On behalf of the Executive Committee, we wish both the couples very well for the future.
