Late Amratben Dahyalal Pethraj Shah (Jakharia)
1921- 2020
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Amratben Dahyalal Pethraj Shah of South Harrow, London on 21st November 2020.
Born and raised in Nairobi, she moved to Mombasa after marriage. Brave and fiercely independent, on her husband’s death she took over and successfully ran the family business known as Gift Centre in Mombasa. In 1976, she moved to London to join her children.

Grandmother to Ketan (Estela), Panna, Amit (Payal) and Sara
Great grandmother to Ishani and Arnav
Sister to late Premchand (late Anilaben), late Harishchandra (late Maniben), late Prabhulal (late Jayaben), late Vijyaben (late Babu of Ken Knit), Jayanatilal (late Savitaben), late Sureshchandra (late Narabda), late Hansa (late Amritlal)
Sister-in-law to late Manekchand Pethraj (late Laxmiben), late Bhimji Pethraj (late Monghiben), late Vershi Pethraj ( Emvees, Mombasa) (late Maniben), late Samji Pethraj and late Kunvarben ( late Devraj)
Due to the current Covid -19 pandemic, there will not be a public held Sadadi and the funeral service will be restricted to close family.
