Late Amratben Karamshi Govindji Shah (Gosrani) of London, UK, passed away peacefully on Thursday 23rd April 2020, at the age of 88 years. Born in 1932, she also lived in Maragua, Kenya, and in Arikhana, and Vav Beraja, India. She was:
Wife of Late Karamshi Govindji Shah (of Vav Beraja)
Daughter of Late Raishi Kachra Dodhia and Late Motiben Raishi Dodhia
Daughter-in-Law of Late Gosar (Govindji) Kachra Gosrani and Late Himaben Gosar Gosrani
Sister of Manekchand Raishi Dodhia, Ramji Raishi Dodhia, Ramnik Raishi Dodhia and Hansaben Devchand Chandaria.
Sister-in-law of Pachiben Samji Malde, Late Ramji Gosar Gosrani, Late Santokben Murji Malde, Late Lalji Gosar Gosrani, and Motiben Zaverchand Savla.
Mother and mother-in-law of Nandlal and Hansa, Bharti and Praful, Anil and Priti, Rashika and Dilip. and Hasmita. Grandmother to seven grandchildren.
She led an extraordinary life. She was happy, healthy, adaptable, and optimistic. She always smiled, enjoyed cooking, and made certain that others were well fed. She will be remembered fondly forever by her family. God bless her and may her soul rest in eternal peace.
