It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs Amritben Hansraj Lakhamshi Shah on Sunday 26th July 2020 in London, UK.
Our Ba was a woman like no other, she gave us life, nurtured us, taught us, dressed us, fought for us, held us, disciplined us, kissed us, but most importantly, she loved us unconditionally. She was a true inspiration and showed great strength and resilience throughout her life.
She was the beloved wife of Late Hansraj Lakhamshi Shah and lived in Forthall (Muranga), Kenya, before moving to the UK.
She was Daughter to Late Lakhamshi Vrajpal Harania and Late Santokben in Mithoi, India.
She was Sister & Sister-in-law to Premchand & Late Jasumati, Late Shantilal & Sarojben and Chandrikaben & Bhupendra.
She was the Daughter-in-law of Late Lakhamshi Virji Gosrani and Late Rajalben Lakhamshi.
She was Mother & Mother-in-law to Nayantara & Late Jayanti, Mahesh & Vijaya (Vilas), Chandravanti (Sunu) & Pravin, Bindu & Suresh, Paresh & Hasmita, Late Dina & Pankaj and Dita.
She was Ba to Meesha, Jilna, Amal & Samita, Bhavita and Rajal & Jeenal.
She was Nani to Late Sheena, Shirin & Shruti, Nitesh & Avanti, Sonya & Salil, Neel, Ketna & Ketan, Dipesh, Kavita & Chiraag, Jainie & Sagar and Neha & Nikhil.
She was Great Grandma to Ishan, Keya, Amiya, Riyaan, Bella, Ari, Maahee, Reyan and Avhi
Amritben was the personification of Mamta and Maya; loving and caring for all.
Amritben na sau ne MICCHAMI DUKKADAM.
