Born in Dabasang (India), moved to Nairobi and settled in London since 1972
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved dad
Amritlal Govindji Shah on Sunday 14th April 2024.
He was the husband of:

Late Govindji Dharamshi Maru & Late Vera Govindji Maru

Late Lakhamshi Devji Shah & Late Jasmaben Lakhamshi Shah
Father & Father-in-law to:
Harshida & Late Paul, Preeti & Harish, Bina & Harshad, Sanjay & Meera
Grandfather to:
Rishen, Kushal, Eisha & Iyla
Brother & Brother-in-law to:
Late Rambhaben & Late Kantilal, Late Ramubhai, Late Motichand, Jasodaben & Late Maganlal
Chandrika & Vinodchandra, Hasmukhlal & Hansa
Brother-in-law to:
Late Zaverchand & Parvatiben, Somchand & Late Lalita, Late Kantilal, Sushila & Keshavlal, Late Ramesh & Madhu, Pushpa & Mahendra, Madhu, Jitendra & Urmi, Taruna & Late Nipun
Uncle to many nephews & nieces
Dad came from a humble background but worked hard to have a successful business in Nairobi and create a comfortable life. He helped and supported many family members get settled in life. Dad had a sharp wit and enjoyed playing cards and loved to sing the old songs of yesteryear. He will be dearly missed.
