Late Ashvin Nemchand Virchand Shah
30 June 1948 – 15 April 2026
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Ashvin
Nemchand Shah on 15 April 2026 at the age of 77.
Ashvinbhai, originally from Fort Hall (Muranga), moved to North Finchley, London in 1970. He
moved to Streatham and finally settling in Thornton Heath.
Son of Late Nemchand Virchand and Late Amratben Nemchand
Son in Law of Late Karsandas Kalidas and Late Maniben
Husband to Bhanumati
Father to Meera
Father-in-Law to Vikesh
Nana to Veer, Ruhi and Krish
Brother and Brother-in-Law to Late Chandraben & Chotalal Malde, Late Mohanlal Nemchand &
Pushpaben, Ramniklal Nemchand & Champaben, Ranjanben & Ramjibhai, Mahendra
Nemchand & Urmilaben, Surendra (Suresh) Nemchand & Late Pushpaben, Vilasben &
Vinodbhai, Hasmukhbhai & Minaben, Rasikaben & Late Ambalalbhai, Late Purshotham (Purubhai) & Gitaben and Late Manubhai & Dakshaben
He was cherished by all his nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A man of quiet strength, whose few words always carried great meaning. He will always be
remembered for his strong character, and the whole family will treasure every moment spent
with him.
He will be forever in our hearts, and though he is deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing
that heaven has gained an Angel.
