It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing away of Chandrakant Gosar Meghan Shah (Dhanani) of Harrow, UK (previously Nairobi) after a short period of illness.

Loving husband of Vasanti Chandrakant Shah for over 57 years.

Inspiring father to Vaishali and Nirali, and father-in-law to Ketan and Chretien.

Doting Grandfather to Krishay.

Eldest son of Late Smt. Jamnaben Gosar Meghan and Late Shree Gosar Meghan Shah of Nairobi, Kenya (Gaam Chela).

Son-in-law of Late Ratilal Hirji Kara Malde and late Prankuwar Ratilal Hirji Malde of Mombasa, Kenya.

Brother of Late Sushila (Late Shantilal), Sumati (Late Rasik), Vinodrai (late Hansa), Late Ranjan (Mansukhlal), Mina (late Nitin), Shailin (Bansi).

Brother-in-law of late Sumatiben (late Harakchandbhai), late Chandramaniben (late Raichandbhai), late Manugauri (late Veljisaab), late Cchotalal (late Muktaben), late Himatlal ‘Bhuru’ (Jayaben), late Suryakalaben (late Maganlal), late Sarlaben (late Rajnikant), late Kishore (Kanchanben), late Chandrakant (Dina), late Rasik (Niru).

Missed as Uncle and Great Uncle to many Nieces and Nephews.

Dear cousin, uncle and friend to many.

We celebrate the patriarch of the Gosar Meghan Parivaar – a driven, generous, and passionate guiding figure – who leaves us with many wonderful memories and strong life lessons.

He will be missed dearly and cherished forever!
