Late Chandrakant Hansraj Kalidas Shah
(13/06/1942 – 28/08/2026)
It is with deep regret we announce the peaceful passing of Mr Chandrakant Hansraj Kalidas Shah of Rockgreen (London) and Prakash Stores (Nairobi) on Friday, 28th August 2026 in London, England.
He was born in, and had a very memorable childhood, in Nairobi, Kenya. Later, he settled in London with his family. First in Kenton, then in Hatch End.
He was the beloved Husband to Jasu.
He was the Son of: Late Mr Hansraj Kalidas Shah (Bhagubhai) & Late Mrs Amratben Hansraj Shah.
He was the Son-in-Law of: Late Mr Raisi Kanji Haria & Late Mrs Puriben Pethraj Maru.
He was the loving Father and Father-in-Law to Neel (Tiku) & Bansi, Panna & Premal.
He was the much loved Grandfather to Nikhil, Sahil, Riana, Leah, Serena, Milo & Alfie.
He was Brother to: Late Manilalbhai (Late Induben Manilal), Late Lilavantiben Somchand (Late Somchandbhai Virpar), Savitaben Kanti (Late Kantilalbhai Hirji), Late Anilkumar (Sheelaben), Late Arunkumar (Manjuben), Late Mahendra (Sarlaben), and Bharti Rajni (Late Rajnibhai Patani).
He was a dear Uncle to many nieces and nephews: Ketan, Pilu, Salina, Trusit, Beenta, Sarita, Roopal, Rashmi, Raju, Rajiv, Parit, Samit, Seema, Reema, Rumit, Avni, Anjli, Sagar, Meer.
He was deeply loved and admired by many friends and from across the Oshwal community.
He lived a life of love, kindness, and simplicity, leaving behind memories that will remain in our hearts forever.
There will be a prayer meeting (Saadri) on:
Thursday 03/09/2026.
Time: 8.00pm-9.30pm.
At LV Hall, Oshwal Centre, Coopers Lane Rd, Potters Bar
Herts,EN6 4DG.
The cremation details will be confirmed at a later date and time.
