Late Chandulal Velji Kara Shah
1 July 1937 – 10 December 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Chandulalbhai
on Wednesday 10 December in London.
Chandubhai was born in Nairobi, moving to London in December 1974.
He was devoted to his wife of 66 years, Prabhaben, and will be sorely missed by her,
his three daughters, Mayuri, Divia and Bansi, son in laws, Mayur and Chetan, and grandchildren.
He was a humble, kind and gentle soul, always putting others first.
His generosity was never loud but always felt.
Beloved husband of Prabhaben Chandulal.
Son of Late Velji Kara and Late Monghiben Velji
and grandson of Late Kara Bhoja and Late Vejiben Kara.
Son in law of Late Motichand Meghji Ladha and Late Motiben Motichand.
Father to Mayuri (Mayur), Divia (Chetan) and Bansi.
Grandfather to Hiren (Hetal), Ravi (Kruti), Milan (Tejal), Shivani (Steve), Sona (Rohan).
Brother to Late Hansa (Late Kapoor), Late Surendra (Manjula), Ashok (Rekha).
Brother in law to Late Kantilal Motichand (Late Kanta Kantilal) and
Suresh Motichand (Late Kanchan Suresh).
Motabapa to Ashish (Bridget), Prasit (Wendy), Mahesh (Fernanda), Sita.
Mama to Rajiv (Priti), Sanjiv (Priti).
Fuva to Late Sishir (Late Nalini), Nainesh (Raxa), Kartik (Nila), Dipti (Nishit),
Nira (Pulkit), Nimesh (Priti).
