It is with deep regret and profound sadness that we announce the passing away of Late Devshi Govindji Devji Sumaria on Tuesday, 5th September 2023. Born in Mombasa, Kenya and residing in Nairobi, Kenya; he moved to Borivali, India in 1971.
Son of Late Govindji Devji Sumaria and Late Leelaben Govindji Sumaria of Khirsara, India
Son-in-law of Late Jivraj Pethraj Chandaria and Late Kasturben Jivraj Chandaria of Kansumra, India
Husband to Lilavantiben Sumaria
Father & father-in-law to Mahesh & Vimla, Dinesh & Urvashi, Usha & Dhiroo, and Nimesh & Abhilasha
Grandfather & grandfather-in-law to Minal & Nilesh, Kinjal & Dhaval, Meera & Nick, Rajil & Sneha, Priya & Aditya, Anand & Umika, Krishan, Brijesh and Tanish
Great grandfather to Vrisha and Vihaan
Brother & brother-in-law to Late Kasturben Virchand Rajpar & Late Virchand Rajpar; Late Gulabchand Govindji Sumaria & Kasturben Gulabchand; Amratlal Nanchand Sumaria & Jayaben Amartlal; and Late Devchand Nanchand Sumaria
Bapuji led a simple life which was the secret to his happiness. He will be dearly missed.
