Late Dipti Manish Shah

Late Dipti Manish Shah

       Moshi 22/02/1959 – London 28/08/1959

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Purnima Shah.  Many of you may know her as Dipti.

She leaves behind her husband Manish Shah, her children Rishi and Roshni, and her daughter-in-law Anisha.

She was the daughter of Champaben Jayantilal Malade and the Late Jayantilal Lakha Malade, and sister of Jyoti (Kanti) Shah.

She was the daughter-in-law of Late Ramji Naya Shah and Late Amritben Ramji Shah.

She grew up in many places as a child, born in Moshi (Tanzania), she moved to Nairobi, spent a little time in Spain, and then returned to Nairobi again. She had very fond memories of all these places, especially the monkeys she would see in Nairobi and feed whenever she could. She moved to London in her twenties, where she met our father, got married, and had her two children, Rishi and Roshni.

She had a wicked sense of humour, unwavering kindness, a great love of cats and other animals, a thirst for travel, and a soft spot for a good sweet treat too.

If Dipti made an impact on your life, however big or small, please feel free to send your condolences to : goodbyes4dipti@hotmail.com, and say a prayer or light a candle in her honour.

Funeral Details to follow
