Chetan was a kind, loving and spiritual person with a sharp mathematical mind and a mischievous sense of humour. He qualified as a medical doctor in 1986. He was almost a qualified surgeon when he had to be medically retired in 1996 due to MS (Multiple Sclerosis). He was a Treasurer for Young Jains, Treasurer for The Wandsworth MS society and a Treasurer& Trustee of BEHT for many years. A keen photographer (many of his photos used in BEHT information material), nature and animal lover, a fundraiser for MS, BEHT and various animal charities. A supporter of under privileged medical students at Manchester University
In true Chetan style, he didn’t like waste, so he donated his body to Sheffield Medical Training Unit, hoping he would be of use to someone after his death. There will be no funeral, instead his body will benefit future students in the field of medical science.
