It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Dr. Maganlal Motichand Chandaria on Friday 31st July 2020 in Nairobi, Kenya.
He was Son of Late Motichand Devraj Chandaria and Late Jamnaben Motichand Devraj. He was Son-in-Law of Late Ratilal Hirji Kara and Late Paniben Ratilal.
He was Husband of Late Suryakala Maganlal Chandaria. He was Father of Late Dinesh, Mahesh and Alka.
He was Father-in-Law of Nisha, Sobhna and Jitesh.
He was Grandfather of Amit & Toral, Hetul & Priya, Bhavnish & Sonal, Darshan, Neer & Devi, Binita & Amit and Shamir & Nishi.
He was Great Grandfather of Shayan and Jaylen.
He was Brother of Late Maniben Dayalal, Late Keshavlal Motichand, Late Kasturben Mulchand (UK), Rama Ratilal (UK), Late Shobhagchand Fulchand (UK) and Prabhulal Fulchand (UK).
The funeral (Limited to 15 pax as per the Government Directive) will be held on Saturday, 1st
August 2020 at Hindu Shamshan Bhumi, Kariokor, Nairobi at 2.30 pm.
There will be no Prayer Meeting held due to the current pandemic situation and as per the Government directives.
Dr Maganlal had a tremendous vision to enrich the lives of those around him.Foremost he was a pioneer industrialist , a property developer , a banker (Guardian Bank) and a philanthropist both in Kenya and India. He leaves behind a good legacy for his family. May he now go on to enrich the lives of those in heaven. Om shanti shanti shanti
