It is with deep regret and profound sadness we announce the demise of Dr Nipulkumar Gulabchand Lakhamshi
Shah, who passed away peacefully on Sunday 30th July 2017.
He was the Son of late Gulabchand Lakhamshi Shah and late Kanchanben Gulabchand Shah;
Devoted Husband to Renukaben and a father and close friend to Amar Nipulkumar Shah.
Father in law to Bhairvee Amar Shah and devoted grandfather to Lanaben
He was brother to Kaushik Gulabchand Lakhamshi Shah and Pragnaben Nilesh Shah.
A loving and caring uncle to Sheena, Akhil and Prina
And brother in law to Nilesh Shah and Rashmita Kaushik Shah
Prathna Sabha will be held on Monday 7th August 2017 from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm at Shishu Bhavan, 25-27 High St, Edgware HA8 7EE
Dr Nipulkumar was a true inspiration to all who knew him. Despite endless medical challenges (3 kidney transplants, numerous strokes) over 30yrs, he never complained once and was always the first in the queue for medical research. It did not stop him from living a normal life.
In addition to being a world leading mathematician with several formulas named after him, he was an accomplished dancer, painter, artist and built Indian temples all over the US although he had never been to India.
He was a great contributor to the local communities he lived in. Teaching maths, a keen Shishukunj member, running US submarine challenges and feeding the homeless to name a few from an endless list.
For all who know him, he shall be remembered with his motto of: ‘Be Good – Do Good’.
