Late Hasmukh (Batuk) Amritlal Karman Shah (Galaiya)
21st April 1945 – 10th December 2022
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sad passing away, while on holiday in Jordan, of Hasmukh Amritlal of Croydon, formerly Kampala, Uganda and gaam Khara Beraja.
Born in Nairobi, Kenya he was the son of Late Amritlal Karman and Late Santokben.
Son-in-law of Late Raichand Kachra & Late Maniben.
Loving husband of Minaxi Shah.
Amazing father of Toral (London) and Anand (Hong Kong)
Endearing father-in-law of Stephanie
Doting grandfather to Rafi, Dillon, Aiden & Coco.
Coco was born on the morning of his passing and he was overjoyed on hearing news of her birth.
Brother of Late Motiben (Late Juthalal), Late Chunibhai (Ramaben), Pushpaben (Jayantibhai), Late Gulabchand (Hasumati), Kishore (Vanitaben), Nirmala (Nandan – Late Rajnikant).
Brother-in-law to Pramilaben (Late Jayantilal), Jayantibhai (Chandanbalaben), Hansaben (Late Dinesh), Sarlaben (Navin), Pradip (Nainaben), Shilpaben (Chandulal).
Whilst he was a man of few words, he achieved much in his lifetime.
He loved his family and friends and spending quality time with them.
He will be greatly missed, particularly for his optimism, practical outlook, humbleness, and for his strong support and always being the backbone of his immediate and extended family.
He lived life to its fullest and was a proud and loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He leaves behind an unforgettable legacy, which will be remembered by all dearest to him.
May his soul get Sadgati and attain Moksh.

Funeral Details of Late Hasmukh (Batuk) Amritlal Karman Shah ( Galaiya)
3pm Thursday 5th January 2023
With a heavy heart, we would like to announce and invite you to Dad/ Batuk’s funeral on Thursday 5th January 2023 at 3pm at Croydon crematorium.
The funeral service will also be webcast live (and available to downloadable afterwards) so those of you living further away or unable to travel, will be able to join us virtually.
We totally understand it may be difficult for you to attend in person, and welcome you to join virtually.
We will share details of the webcast here in a few days.
