Late Jane Elizabeth Shah (née Thomas)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jane Elizabeth Shah (née Thomas), who died suddenly and unexpectedly, at her home in Manchester on 2 June 2026.
She was a deeply loved mother, daughter, sister, partner, and friend to many. She was an incredibly generous, kind and loving person and enjoyed life to the full, with warmth and an open heart.
Wife of Anup Motilal Hansraj Shah
Daughter to Alice and David Thomas
Daughter-in-law to late Vijyaben and Late Motilal Hansraj Shah.
Mother to Kaiya Alice, Indiya Jane, Jasmyn Vijya Jenni
Sister and sister-in-law to Gareth (Jear),
Sister-in-law to Pravin (Mina), Hasu (late Tejwant), Meena (Raj), Daksha (Nainesh) and Rita (Hiten).
Jane was an aunt and a great-aunt to many.
Although this is an incredibly difficult time, we know that Jane would want us all to celebrate her life and remember the joy, kindness, and love she brought to so many people.
May Jane’s Soul ascend its spiritual path.

Jane Elizabeth Shah – Funeral details
The funeral will be held on Monday 6th July 2026 at Altrincham Crematorium at 3:15pm.
Altrincham Crematorium, Whitehouse Lane, Dunham Massey, Altrincham, WA14 5RH
This will be followed by a wake at The Bowdon Rooms, The Firs, Bowdon, Altrincham, WA14 2TQ
