It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our beloved BAA Mrs Jasoda Velji Merag Shah on 18 August 2025.
She was the daughter of Late Kumbha Meghan and Late Roopa Kumbha Meghan (Lakhabawal, India), and daughter-in-law of Late Merag Kana and Late Paniben Merag Kana (Arikhana, India).
She was the wife of Late Velji Merag Shah (Arikhana, Keroka, Kisii, Nairobi, Mumbai).
She was mother and mother-in-law of Jayantilal & Indira, Late Biharilal & Jayvanti, Sailesh & Nirupa, Rohit & Kishori and Sandip & Daksha.
She was the last surviving sister and sister-in-law to Premchand & Maniben, Dharamshi & Kankuben, Lalji & Ratanben, Fulchand & Kasturben, Daiben & Gosar Parbat, Ratanben & Mohanlal, Kanchanben & Devshi.
She was grandmother and grandmother-in-law to Sunit, Sheetal & Hansil, Jesal & Beejal, Bhavic & Sorangi, Tiraj & Kajal and Meera.
She was a doting great-grandmother to Hrehaan, Aarini, Reece, Lainee and Iniya.
