It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Jayantilal Nathalal Nagda (Jayant Shah), Gaam – Vav Beraja on Sunday 10th January in Nairobi, Kenya.

This was his moto:

There is nothing in life that is not possible,

Work hard for your goals,

Believe in yourself and your dreams,

And you will achieve…

Coming from humble beginnings, his kindness and generosity knew no bounds. Forever smiling, he touched the hearts of many both young and old. He always put others’ hardships before his own, loving others was his first nature.

He was a man of many talents and known to be a legend on and off the rally circuit.

He will be deeply missed by all.

He was born in Mombasa, moved to Nairobi and settled in Arusha.

He was son of Late Nathalal Hirji Nagda, Late Jiviben Nathalal and Late Radiyatben Nathalal.

He was beloved husband of Lata.

He was son-in-law of Late Vaja Vaghji Haria and Late Lilavanti Vaja Haria.

He was father to Kalpesh (Mira), Priya (Priyesh) and Prina (Chirag).

He was brother to Suresh (Sushila) -UK, Late Vilas (Juthalal) -Tanzania, Late Saroj, Late Sheila, Anju (Ashwin) -UK, Late Anoj (Harsha) -Tanzania.

He was brother-in-law to Late Bhami (Late Fulchand), Late Jivraj (Rambhi), Late Kesavji (Jaya), Juthalal (Late Vilas), Late Nemchand (Narabda), Late Mansukh (Jaya), Kalavati (Surendra), Jayantilal (Manju)

He was an adorable (grandfather) Dada to Tanay & Jayni and Nana to Kashvi & Nikhil.

He was uncle to Mita (Kiran), Hina (Yaswant), Bhavesh (Meeta), Binesh (Rina), Nishma (Vinesh), Nimesh (Trupti), Amit (Rakhee), Ankeet (Avni), Mira (Tejas) and Viral.

Due to the current circumstances, the funeral service will be restricted to close family and the announcement for a sadri via zoom will follow in due course.
