Late Kantaben Kantilal Shah
6th January 1937 – 21st January 2024 (Age 87)
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Kantaben Kantilal Shah on 21 January 2024.
Kantaben was born and resided in Thika, Kenya and thereafter resided in Finchley London UK since 1972.
Kantaben’s parents were Late Ratanben and Late Lakhamshi Meghji Parbat Mura.
Her grandfather, Meghji, was from Changa, India, and was one of five brothers (fondly known as Panch Bhaiya of the Dodhia family of Changa) and 2 sisters.
Kantaben was a devoted wife to Kantilal, son of Late Merag Pethraj and Late Vejiben Merag of Kakabai Sihan.
She was loving mother to Dipti (Bipin) and Bindi (Paresh), and was affectionate grandmother to Nickhil (Seekha), Samir and Jenna.
Kantaben was the fourth eldest of seven siblings: Late Premchand (Late Ansuyaben) Late Maganlal (Induben), Jentilal (Vilasben), Prabhulal (Late Dinumati), Late Dhirajlal (Manugauri) and Dinesh (Illaben).
Kantaben was sister-in-law to Jayaben (Jayantilal) and Sashi (Sarojben)
She was a beloved aunt to many and loved by all, her infectious smile always lit up any place.

Open coffin viewing in North Chapel-3.30pm to 4.00pm
Antim Kriya(Funeral) In South Chapel-4.00pm to 5.00pm
