Late Kantaben Ratilal Shah(Jakharia)
1932 – 2025.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the demise of Mrs. Kantaben Ratilal Shah (Jakharia) (gaam Datta) who passed away on 7th July 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya.
She was daughter of Late Panachand Meghji Gudka and Late Jomaben Panachand Gudka (Rambhaben Panachand Gudka).
She was wife of Late Ratilal Anand Shah.
She was daughter in law of Late Anand Hansraj Jakharia and Late Rajalben Anand Jakharia.
She was mother and mother-in-law of Dipak & Chandan (Nairobi), Harshana & Late Pratis (Mombasa), Piyush & Nisha (Nairobi).
She was grandmother to Dolan & Ajeel, Khelin & Jay, Mirav & Pooja, Tejus, Kush, Divyan and Pari.
She was sister-in-law of Late Devchandbhai Anand & Shantaben (London), Late Manilalbhai Anand & Late Nirmalaben (Mumbai), Late Chandulalbhai Anand & Kanchanben (Nairobi), Late Kantilalbhai Anand & Late Lilavantiben (Bhiwandi), Late Monghiben & Late Jethalalbhai Kanji (Mumbai), Late Manjulaben & Late Meghji Dodhia (Mumbai).
Sister in law to Keshavji Nathoo [Columbo] and Late Gunvantiben (London)
She was sister and sister-in-law of Late Ratilal and Bhanumatiben, Mansukh and Poornima, Dilip and Suryakala, Late Sushiben and Chandrakant, Hansa and Kiran, Mukesh and Donna (all of London).
She was kaki to Tara and Late Chandrakant, Shila and Rashmi,Late Pankaj Devechand,Bindu and Nipul [all of London] and faiba, mami and masi to many.
Kantaben was larger than life and certainly a giant among her peers.
Our cherished memories will keep her close in our hearts and thoughts always and forever.
May her soul get sadgati and attain moksh.
