Bhanu was a charitable, caring, loving, positive, sporty, adventurous (She climbed Mt Kilimanjaro at the age of 16 and Mt Kenya later with Rajendra) and very bubbly. She trained as a teacher at Kenyatta college and there after she taught for few years. After moving to Mombasa, together with her late husband they opened a plant nursery called “Bustani Plant Nursery”. They also offered landscaping services. She had great knowledge of plants and was an expert at plant propagation. Her hobbies were learning new dishes, flower arranging and she was an expert at Garba. After the sad demise of her late husband, she reluctantly moved to Nairobi to be closer to her daughter. The last 3 years proved to be very challenging for Bhanu medically and we are grateful to Ketan who dedicated himself to looking after his Mum.
