Late Laxmiben Shah
1st January 1935 – 25th December 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Ba, Late Laxmiben Velji Shah, on 25th December 2024, in London.
Laxmiben was born in Nana Mandha, India, lived in Chela and Kenya and then in 1972 settled in the UK, first in Birmingham and then London.
Beloved wife of Late Velji Vira Shah (Chela)
Daughter of Late Popat Lakhamsi and Late Ratnaben Popat (Mungani)
Daughter- in- law of Late Vira Hemraj and Late Kankben Vira
Loving mother (mother-in-law) to Nandkumar (Shilpa), Mahesh, Suresh (Norah) and Kanchen.
Grandmother(grand-mother-in-law) to Amar (Jayna), Chetan, Jayoti
Great Grandmother to Nikhil
Sister-in-law of Late Karman and Late Rahbiben, Late Jeshang and Late Gangaben Jeshang, Late Motichand and Sushilaben, Late Dematben and Late Vardhaman, Late Kuverben Ranmal, Late Ranmal Virpar
Aunt to many nieces and nephews
Ba was a very kind and gentle soul, who loved life and brightened all our lives with her love, laughter, and smile, she will be dearly missed by family and friends and will be forever in our hearts and minds.
Prathna Sabha (Saadri) will be held on:
Friday 27th December 2024 from 7:30pm to 9pm at
Main Hall, HCS (Hindu Cultural Society) Bhavan, 3 Lyndhurst Avenue, London , N12 0LX.
