It is with deep regret that we announce the sad demise of Mahendra (Babu) Manekchand Punja Maru on 25th July 2020 in Nairobi, Kenya. He was:
Husband of Late Kalavanti Shah
Father and father-in-law of Rupen (Royal Snacks Limited), Khilna and Dhiren
Son of Late Manekchand Punja Maru (of Lakhabawal) and Late Rupaben Manekchand Punja Maru
Son in law of: Late Bharmal Sojpar Shah and Shantaben Bharmal Shah
Brother and brother in law of:
Late Laxmi Maru,
Pravinchandra Shah (Bhikhu of Shadhan Agency, Mombasa and Ekta Centre, London) and Vinumati Shah,
Late Keshavlal Maru (of King Plastic Industries Ltd, Nairobi) and Jayaben Maru,
Ramnik Maru and Manjula Maru, and;
Jitendra Shah and Madhuri Shah
Uncle (kaka) of:
Neeta and Amit, Bhavna, Rajen and Sonia, Chetan and Hanisha, Sangna and Pankaj, Apeksha and Bimal, Rajeshkumar (King Plastic Industries Limited) and Harshida, Vinay (King Plastic Industries Limited) and Bindi.
Grandfather of:
Aran, Sonia, Ishnaa, Ryan, Keyan, Joshen, Aashni, Priyav, Mihir, Prina, Rishav, Jaimir, Jainish, Riyan and Yash.
There will be no Prathna Sabha due to the ongoing Coronavirus restrictions. Online Shradhanjali will be held at a later date. A celebration of his life will be held in due course once restrictions are lifted.
We will be humbled if you could remember our dad, brother, kaka, dada and nana in your prayers.
