He was son of Late Vidhu Padamshi Shah and Late Gomiben Vidhu Shah (Arusha, Tanzania; Gaam: Chela, India)
He was husband of Kantaben Motichand Shah (Arusha, Tanzania)
He was son-in-law of Late Premchand Mepa Shah and Late Raniben Premchand Shah (Mombasa, Kenya)
He was father of Mayuri Jatish Shah, Minesh Motichand Shah, Raju Motichand Shah
He was father-in-law of Jatish Meghji Shah, Neina Minesh Shah and Parita Raju Shah
He was grandfather of Pratik, Prit, Sonam, Sonia, Meera, Neeval and Bianca
He was brother of Late Laxmiben, Late Maniben Raichand Shah, Late Jayaben Raichand, Late Dinesh Vidhu Shah, Minaxi Chimanlal Shah, Kantilal Vidhu Shah and Dhirajlal Vidhu Shah
He was brother-in-law of Late Raichand Mepa Shah, Late Raichand Devraj Shah, Late Chimanlal Khimji Shah, Surya Dinesh Shah, Niranjana Kantilal Shah, Ramila Dhirajlal Shah, Dr Amritlal Premchand & Anjana Shah, Rashmikant Premchand & Nisha Shah, Champa & Ramesh Shah and Sushi & Navin Shah
He was motabapa to Vijay, Rakhee, Dippa, Neha, Geetal, Julan, Priyan and Prag
