Late Mr Kantilal Motichand Petraj Haria.
It is with deep regret and a saddened heart that we have to announce the demise of Late Mr Kantilal Motichand Petraj Haria.
He was the son of late Motichand Petraj Haria and late Jayaben Motichand Petraj Haria. Kanti has been known by the nickname of ‘Jamaa’ & ‘dad’ to his beloved family and friends around the globe.
He was born in Mombasa, Kenya where he started a successful business and married Mrs Manchhaben Megji Hemraj Malde.
He moved to settle in Wellingborough, UK in the early 70s where he became a proud father to Samir Kantilal Shah and Jinal Kantilal Shah.
Kanti was an adventurous and dedicated human always eager to take on new challenges and in 1988, started a business in Hitchin, Hertfordshire where he became an admired, respected and well-known member of the community and thrived before he retired in 2017.
During this time, he welcomed his daughters in law, Sital Samir Shah and Lisa Jinal Shah. His pride and joy doubled on the birth of his first granddaughter Saira Samir Haria. This happiness multiplied through the birth of Armaan Jinal Haria, Siyanni Samir Haria, Jaiya Jinal Haria & Ariyaan Jinal Haria.

Although he embraced his life in the UK, his conversations with people would be dominated with his memories of Kenya and spoke Swahili at every possible opportunity.
Dad loved watching cricket and enjoyed motor shows. He was known by his family as a human navigation system and this intelligence helped us when maps and e-navigation systems failed!
He touched the lives of many people in his time on Earth and we want to thank all those who made his last moments so cherished.
Dad will be missed dearly and life will not be the same for his grandchildren without his jokes and preaching.
May his soul rest in eternal and everlasting peace.
