Late Narshi Punja Shah
24th March 1931 – 7th February 2026
(Born in Navagam, India, Lived in Kisumu, Kenya until 1974 and finally resident in Wembley since March 1974)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved dad, granddad, great-granddad Narshi Punja Shah who departed for the heavenly abode early morning on Saturday 7th February 2026
He was the beloved husband of Veluben (Vijyaben) Narshi Shah
He was the son of Late Rupaben Gosar and Late Gosar Parbat Malde. Having lost both his parents when he was very young he was brought up by his Maternal Uncles Late Murag Anand Haria and Late Punja Anand Shah
He was the son-in-law of Late Kunverbai Devan and Late Devan Popat Gosrani of Kansumra
He was the devoted father (father-in-law) to Kaushik (Late Sunanda), Nayna, Jyotindra/Jitu (Darsha)
He was the beloved brother (brother-in-law) of Late Gangaben Premchand (Late Premchand Parbat Dhanani)
He was a dear brother-in-law of Late Keshavlal Devan, Late Amratben (Late Kachra Ramji), Late Maganlal Devan (Late Rambhiben), Late Laxmiben (Late Keshavlal), Radiatben (Late Virchand Meghji), Late Dhanji Devan (Late Kasturben), Late Mulchand Devan (Purnaben), Late Motichand Devan, Late Chandrakant Devan, Kanchanben (Late Keshavji), Pravin Devan (Ranjanben)
He was a devoted grandfather (grandfather-in-law) to Hiren (Madhvi), Samir, Sonali (Sam), Aashni, Parin (Monali)
He was a doting great-grandfather to Jayden, Riva, Reya and Kinneri
He was a loving uncle to many nephews and nieces across the world
Our Bapuji was a truly wonderful soul who was loved and cherished by everyone who knew him and he will be deeply missed
Prathna Sabha to be held on:
Monday 9th February 2026, 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm
at Oshwal Centre (LV Hall)
Coopers Lane Road, Northaw, EN6 4DG
(Please do not arrive before 7:30pm to allow time for the immediate family to settle)
