Late Rajendra Somchand Galaiya
(8’* July 1954 – 1″ February 2026)
It is with deep regret and great sadness that we announce the sudden demise of our
dearly loved Rajendra Somchand Galaiya also known as Raju of Amito Stores on Sunday,
1st February 2026 in Kisumu, Kenya.
He was Son of Late Somchand Virpar Galaiya and Late Amritben Somchand Galaiya.
He was Son-in-Law of Late Ratilal Devraj and Late Lalitaben Ratilal (Nakuru).
He was a Soulmate to Nitaben Galaiya.
He was a loving Father and Father-in-law to Bhavya and Payal, Ameet and Nishal.
He was caring Brother to Rajnikant(Manu) and Sushila (UK), Kishore and Ila{UK) and Jitendra (Jitu) and Kailash (UK).
He was a Brother-in- Law to Vinu and Dipa (Jericho), Prafula and Rashmi (UK), Sangu and
Late Anuj (Nairobi), Shareet and Dhruksha (UK).
He was a proud Dada to Divam. He was a fond Uncle to many.
The cortege will leave from the Late Raju’s residence (Near Sunset Hotel) on Tuesday,
03/02/2026 at 11:30 am.
Cremation will take place at 12:00pm at the Hindu Crematorium, Kisumu.
Followed by Prayer meeting, which will be held at Visa Oshwal Vanik Community Kisumu at8:00pm on Tuesday 03/02/2026.
