Late Rambhaben Jivraj Narshi Shah

The Shah family regrets to announce that our beloved grandmother, Rambhaben Jivraj Shah, passed away on August 24th, 2017 in London. She passed away during the most auspicious time of year, Paryushan, when Jains focus on ideas of forgiveness and self-purification.  

 She was born in Vasai, Gujarat, India in 1923, and lived there until migrating to Kericho, Kenya in 1945. She later migrated to London in 1974, and resided there until her passing. 

 She was the daughter of the late Ramji Mokarbhai and Jamnaben Shah, sister of Ratanben and Virchandbhai.

 She was the wife of the late Jivraj Narshi Shah, and sister-in-law of Dhaiben, Devshibhai, Liladharbhai, and Maniben. 

 She was survived by her six children and their spouses: Pushpa (Harkhu), Manju (Avinash/Nazi), Sudha (Kantilal), Kantilal (Jyotika), Venichand (Anjna), and Naina (Kaushik); as well as her twelve grandchildren: Bimal, Hemal, Bejul, Shejal, Malini, Neel, Sima, Vishal, Milli, Miraj, Jaine, and Sahil; and twelve great-grandchildren: Harshi, Aashni, Fiya, Meer, Khush, Diva, Kaiya, Ayana, Maisha, Kaiden, Blake, and Amaya. 

 Prathna sabha is on Sunday, August 27th, 2017 from 8-10pm.
