Late Ranjan Shah
7 October 1948 – 28 December 2025
It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother Ranjan Shah, who left us peacefully on Sunday 28th December 2025, in London.
She was the dedicated wife of Amritlal (Veni) Nemchand Shah.
She was a devoted mother to Late Deepanjali, Sheetal and Shreeti and proud mother-in-law to Sanjay and Darshan.
She was an affectionate and doting Nani to Anjali and Shaan.
She was the treasured daughter of Late Maniben and Late Bhimji Ghela Sumeria.
She was the daughter in law of Late Hiruben and Late Nemchand Lakhtir Shah.
She was a cherished sister and sister-in-law to:
Lataben & Late Prabhulalbhai, Sushilaben & Late Nandlalbhai, Late Vinodraibhai (Babu) & Suryakaraben, Vimlaben & Kheshubhai, Indiraben & Rameshbhai, Late Surendrabhai (Batuk) & Champaben, Late Kusumben & Dhirubhai.
Amratben & Late Mulchandbhai (Bikhu), Late Kantibhai, Babulalbhai (Rati) & Induben, Pushpaben (Hansa) & Nalinbhai (Bhikhu), Late Mukeshbhai & Karunaben, Manukantbhai & Hasmitaben
She had deep and enduring bonds with numerous nephews, nieces, wider family and friends
“She was the heart and guide of our family – a woman of remarkable kindness and deep compassion, whose life was devoted to caring for others. Her strength of spirit shone through every challenge, and her humour brought joy to those around her. Clever and knowledgeable, with wisdom and worldliness that enriched all who knew her, she carried herself with grace and generosity. A true pillar of love and inspiration, her legacy of nurture, guidance, and laughter will live on in our hearts forever.”
We are grateful to family, friends and the wider community for the outpouring of love and immense support during this period.
At this difficult juncture, the family would like to request no home visits please.
