Late Ratilal Dharamshi Shah
17 February 1941– 21 August 2025
It is with great sadness & sorrow that we announce the loss of our beloved father, Ratilal Dharamshi Shah (fondly known as RD) who passed away peacefully on 21 August 2025.
Ratilal (RD) was born in Thika, Kenya, then moved to Mombasa & later to London in 1984 with his family & settled in Queensbury, London.
He was husband to Nirmala Ratilal Shah,
He was father to Samir, Dipak & Raju,
He was father-in-law to Kajal, Bindiya & Nisha
He was Grandfather to Rahul, Nikhil, Aryav, Riyan & Sneha
He was the son of Late Dharamshi Lakhamshi Shah & Late Hiruben Dharamshi Lakhamshi Shah, Thika, Kenya.
He was son-in-law of Late Raichand Khimji Sumaria & the Late Gomtiben Raichand & of Kitale, Kenya.
He was brother & brother in law to Late Jiviben & Late Ramji Hemraj, Late Bhikubhai & Late Jayaben, Late Amratben & Late Kanji Kachra, Late Shantaben & Late Ratilal Karamshi, Late Manjulaben & Jayantilal Premchand, Sarojben & Batuk Mokar, and Pankaj & Piyuben.
He was brother in law to Late Velji Raichand & Savitaben, Kanchanben & Late Mulchand Vaghji, Late Ramniklal Raichand & Late Laxmiben, Late Taraben & Late Hansraj Murag, Late Manjuben & Late Jayantilal Karamshi, Late Champaben & Kantilal Lakhamshi, Shantiben & Manherlal Prabhulal, & Late Narendra Raichand & Champaben.
He was uncle to many nieces & nephews.
He was a cherished friend to many.
We request everyone to pray for his soul to rest in eternal peace.
