It is with deep regret we announce the death of Ratilal Pethraj Shah (Karania) affectionately known as “Rocky and Bachu” on Thursday 17th April 2025 in London, UK.
Born in Nairobi but moved to London in the early 1960’s followed by a 20 year spell in Canada and finally settling back in London.
He was the beloved son of Late Pethraj Makanji Karania & Late Raniben Pethraj Karania
Doting husband to Mrunalini (Bano)
Loving father to Nikesh
He was the brother and brother-in-law to: Late Veljibhai (Late Jayaben) Late Manilalbhai (Shantaben), Late Rambhaben (Late Harakchandbhai), Late Maniben (Late Ramjibhai), Late Shantaben (Late Gulabchandbhai), Hansaben (Liladharbhai) and Kantaben (Late Panachandbhai)
He was the brother-in-law to Late Triveniben (Late Khandubhai), Satishbhai (Late Kundenben), Ravindrabhai (Late Sudhaben), Savitriben, Mridulaben (Late Harshkant), Late Pramilaben (Surendra), Shashikala, Vinodini (Mahesh)
He was a grand uncle and uncle to many loved nieces and nephews
He was a great friend and advisor to many
There will be no sadri as per his wishes
