Late Savitaben Harakhchand Shah
16 December 1940 – 2 September 2026
Our beautiful Savitaben Harakhchand Shah passed away peacefully and with grace on 2 September 2026 in London.
Savitaben was born in Kharaberaja, Gujarat, and lived in Kisii & Nairobi, Kenya before residing in Wembley & Stanmore for the last 56 years.
She was the beloved wife of Harakhchandbhai Velji Shah.
Loving mother to Girish, Sumi & Praful, and a wonderful mother-in-law to Mona, Hitesh & Bina.
The most extraordinary grandmother and she leaves behind a deeply special place in the hearts of Sejal, Tej (Mihir), Sacchin, Dil (Aashni), Anjali and Anish.
Daughter of Late Raishi Pethraj Gada and Late Gomiben Raishi Gada
Much loved baby sister of Late Somchandbhai (Late Devkurben), Late Santaben (Late Dhanjibhai), Late Harakhchandbhai (Late Rambhiben), Late Rambhiben (Late Mohanlalbhai) Late Kapoorchandbhai (Hiraben), and Late Maganlalbhai (Late Bhanuben).
Beloved sister-in-law to Late Amratben (Late Nemchandbhai), Late Narabdaben (Late Hansrajbhai), Shantaben (Late Harakhchandbhai), Late Gulabbhai, and Manjuben (Shantilalbhai).
Adored aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Savitaben was the heart and soul of our family and her full of life nature, strong character and joy was cherished by many. She was a wonderful cook, and a resilient and fiercely independent lady, well ahead of her time.
May her soul have a peaceful onward journey and reach eternal peace. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.
