Late Shashikant Velji Galaiya
Date of birth: 27th November 1941, Muranga, Kenya
It is with deep regret, that we announce the death of Shashikant Velji Shah. He passed away on 31st December 2024 in Croydon, London.
Shashikant was generous, kind and adventurous with a great sense of humour. He was one of the early Oshwal settlers in London arriving in 1962. He welcomed many fellow Oshwals who followed, helping them with his guidance, a warm meal and abode until they got settled.
Husband of Late Usha Shashikant Galaiya.
Son of Late Velji Lakhamshi Galaiya and Late Amritben Velji Galaiya (of Muranga, Kenya)
Son-in-law of Late Jivraj Raja and Late Vrajkuverben Jivraj Raja.
Father (father-in-law) to Sonya (Aomesh), Sunit and Nivesh (Deepa).
Brother (brother-in-law) to Harakhchandbhai (Lalubhai) (Late Lalitaben), Late Muktaben (Late Hansrajbhai), Kantaben (Late Sobhajachandbhai), Vilasben (Late Zaverchandbhai), Kundanben (Madhusudanbhai), Shobhnaben (Pankajbhai), Late Nalinbhai (Nilaben), Pareshbhai (Kirtiben).
Brother-in-law to Late Keshavlalbhai (Late Champaben), Late Kasturben
(Late Gulabchandbhai), Late Shantaben (Late Amratlalbhai), Late Zaverchandbhai (Manuben),
Late Mansukhbhai (Ushaben ), Hansaben (Late Chandrakantbhai), Late Ranjanben

Loving grandfather to Rahul, Priyanka, Radha, and Hari.
Loving uncle to many nephews and nieces across the world.
Prayers will be held on

at the Unity Hall, Oshwal Centre, Coppers Lane Road, Northaw,
Herts, EN6 4DG
