In memory of our late Srimati Kalapana Yogendra Nagaria who sadly passed away on the 29th December 2022, just 12 days before her 60th birthday. We are asking friends, family & well-wishers to help raise £10,008 to help support a Goshalla in Leicester. Kala would enjoy visiting this Goshalla when she visited Renu & Mickey in Leicester. Her, ahimsa (vegan) life choice empathised with the treatment of cows. We know she would love to protect & serve the cows (Gou Raksha & Sewa) in her memory. Do you want to join us in making a difference? Every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that would have meant so much to Srimati Kalapana Yogendra Nagaria Shah

After the death of a person, the family will perform the gau-dhaan (donation of cows) to enable the soul of the deceased to easily cross the river of sin & attain moksha (salvation).

Śrimad Bhagavad-Gītā 2.13

 देहिनोऽस्मिन्यथा देहे कौमारं यौवनं जरा ।
तथा देहान्तरप्राप्तिर्धीरस्तत्र न मुह्यति ॥ १३ ॥

 dehino ’smin yathā dehe
kaumāraṁ yauvanaṁ jarā
tathā dehāntara-prāptir
dhīras tatra na muhyati

As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from childhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death.

A sober person is not bewildered by such a change.
