Late Vanita Mehta

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Vanita Mehta, wife of the Late Ramesh Hiralal Mehta, on Thursday 30th October 2025 at Barnet Hospital.
Vanita was born on 5th July 1949 and spent her childhood in Arambhada, India. Daughter of the Late Maganlal and the Late Mangalaben Sanghvi, she was one of seven siblings.
After getting married in 1967, she lived in Kampala, Uganda, before moving to London, UK. She was a pillar of strength in our family, with her wisdom, kindness and service. From humble beginnings she built a life with purpose, enjoying learning, dedication to family life and embracing spirituality. Her beautiful smile, gentle presence, warmth and fun-loving nature will be sorely missed.
She was a loving wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother, sister and sister-in law to:

Brothers in law/Sisters in law: Vinod (Late Hemlata), Mahendra (Neela), Pravin (Madhuri), Late Arun (Sarla), Pramod (Arti), Dilip (Bina) and sister Hansa (Kiran).
