Late Zaverchand Devchand Haria
(07/08/1936 – 20/01/2026)
It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing away of Mr. Zaverchand Devchand Tejshi Haria on Tuesday, 20th January 2026
He was a devout and pious soul, leaving behind an unparalleled legacy, which his loved ones will cherish through the countless memories created with him. He will be sorely missed by his wife Manjula, beloved daughters Jaksha and Bindi, grandson Arkin and son-in-law Anish.
Born to Late Devchand Tejshi & Late Ratanben Devchand Haria in Nyeri, Kenya in 1936, Zaverchand was one of ten children: Late Kantilal & Late Amratben Haria, Late Radiatben & Late Keshavlal Shah (India), Late Shantilal & Late Shantaben Haria, Late Jayaben & Kanji Shah, Late Sushilaben & Late Mulji Shah, Kanchanben Haria (Nairobi), Rajnikant Haria & Late Sushila Haria, Pravinchandra Haria and Late Manchha Haria, Rashmikant Haria & Rekha Haria
He was son in law of Late Jesa Depar Shah & Late Jethiben Jesa Depar Shah and brother in law of Dinesh & Gita Shah
He and his family moved to London, UK, in 1991, along with his brothers, Pravin and Rashmi and their families, and lived in Kenton until he passed. He lived a fulfilling, independent life, enjoying family holidays, welcoming new members into the family, and was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews and their partners
Prayers will be held at Oshwal Ekta Centre (366A Stag Lane, NW9 9AA)
on Friday 23rd January 2026 from 7:30pm – 9:00pm
